Gachas de avena con claras de huevo

Porridge de avena con claras, fruta y granola

Lately I’ve been eating, at least once a week, oats as my post-workout snack/meal. As I need to eat protein, I make my porridge using egg whites so I get it and also a super creamy texture.

I let you decide the topping; mine has always fruit (banana, of course) and sometimes I use a little bit of homemade fruit puree or granola or cacao nibs. But, yu should try, enjoy and send me photos to my Instagram if you do!

  • 1 cup of vegetal milk
  • 3 tbsps. rolled oats
  • 2 egg whites (large eggs)
  • Fruit to top


  1. Pour the milk into a saucepan and add the oats.
  2. Heat it until boils, low down the heat and let it boil for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Turn off the heat and add the egg whites. Do it very slowly while stirring so you don\'t get lumps.
  4. Let it cool for 10-15 minutes and add fruit to top as you wish.
