Granola Casera de Canela y Nueces

Once you learn how to make granola at home, you can’t stop thinking about new flavours and possibilities. I’ve tied chia and cacao, with fruits, with coconut, even banana flavoured. But my all time favourite is cinnamon and walnut. So here’s the recipe!

I don’t relly like the flavour of the toasted walnuts so I add them at the end of the recipe, once the granola is out of the oven. Nevertheless, it’s up to you. I also add some raisins but it’s optional as I know lots of you don’t enoy them.

(English) Homemade Cinnamon & Walnut Granola

  • 90 grams rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp. Coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp. honey/ coconut syrup/ maple syrup/ date syrup…
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsps. Chopped walnuts
  • 1 tbsp. Raisins (optional)


  1. Mix honey (or syrup) with coconut oil and melt it in the microwave so you can work with it better.
  2. Add oats, cinnamon and vanilla and mix until combine.
  3. Spread the mix into a baking pan and bake for 20 minutes, 175ºc.
  4. Take out the oven, let it cool and once it’s cold, add the chopped walnuts and raisins.
  5. Store in a jar.
