(English) Green Shakshuka

  • ½ onion
  • 2 eggs
  • Olive Oil
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Dill
  • Parsley
  • ½ lemon juice
  • 120 grams peas
  • 100 grams Fresh spinach
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • White Cheese


  1. Chop the onion and the garlic.
  2. Put some olive oil into a frying pan and cook onion and garlic (medium heat) until onion starts to become transparent.
  3. Add the spinach and when they have reduced their size, add the peas with the lemon juice, dill, parsley, salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cook for a couple of minutes and add the eggs.
  5. Let them cook for 3-4 minutes and cover the pan so the steam cooks the top of the eggs.
  6. Take off the heat and add the cheese.
