Hummus Tzatziki Vegano

We are one of those families who have the fridge full of sauces and dips for everything and, when I say full, I don’t mean 4 or 5 sauces but a whole bunch of them (more than 10): different colours, tastes, thickness… and for every use. What can I say, we love sauce and hummus is one of them. It is true that, in some supermarkets, they sell some good hummus but only the traditional one and I love innovation.

So, I have prepared a tzatziki hummus, mix between hummus and tzatziki sauce with a little cucumber as we don’t like it very much and soya yogurt to keep it vegan.

(English) Vegan Tzatziki Hummus

Spread it over a toast, bread or biscotti or use it to make delicious sandwiches.

  • Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 350 grams chickpeas
  • 15 grams cucumber
  • 1/3 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp. Tahini
  • 2 tbsp, soja yogurt
  • 1 tbsp, water
  • ½ lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tsps. dill

Instructions

  1. Chop the onion and the garlic clove.
  2. Put all the ingredients (except olive oil, water, salt and pepper) into a food processor and process.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
  4. Add olive oil and water until you get the propper thickness.
  5. Decor with cucumber, dill or vegan white cheese.
