Burrito bowl

Let’s make something different with our burritos and place all the ingredients into a bowl because bowls are trending.

This is a quite special burrito recipe as I can’t eat pepper or spicy things or tomato so I made it so I could eat it myself because… well, because I wanted to eat it; that’s the true.

Fritos, by the way, are not the healthiest choice so you can make triangles with some corn tortillas and place them into the oven to make homemade nachos.

(English) Burrito Bowl

  • Serves: 1
  • Level: 1 bowl


  • ½ cup of fritos chips
  • 200 grams chicken breast
  • 150 grams red beans
  • Spring Onion
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 tbsp. Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper


  1. Heat some water into a pot and add the chicken when it boils. Cook for 15 minutes.
  2. Take off the water, let it cool and shred the chicken using your fingers.
  3. Into a small bowl, put salt, pepper, olive oil and Teriyaki sauce and mix. Mix it with the chicken.
  4. Chop the spring onion and the avocado.
  5. Into a medium ball, place the ingredients: fritos chips, red beans, chicken, spring onion and avocado.
  6. Add salt, olive oil or any other sauce, mix and enjoy.
