This is actually my favourite snack ever and, of course, the best to take as a post-workout. I have tried thousands of flavours in my milkshakes but this one is, without any doubt, my favourite.

Banana is an amazing fruit that will boost you and give you enough energy to recover from your exercise and proteins will help you build muscle.

I love matcha tea because of the flavour but they say it’s a great detox supplement and has antioxidant properties.

I also enjoy adding some chia seeds because of the texture and they are great to keep you feeling full for a longer time.

(English) Banana & Matcha Shake

  • Prep Time: 5m
  • Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 1 medium banana
  • 80 milliliters coconut & rice milk
  • 3 grams matcha tea
  • 2 tbsps. vegan protein powder (optional)
  • 400 milliliters ice cold water
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients (except for the chia seeds) into a blender and mix.
  2. Serve the milkshake in a glass and add a teaspoon of chia seeds and mix with a straw.
  3. Enjoy!
